Q: Is the distributive leadership permanent?
Q: Will out of school/community program forms be allowed back into Friday folders?
A: We are working toward that goal.
Q: What are we going to do for new teachers?
A: Induction, more support, and we want our buildings to be a family where new staff are nurtured by experienced staff.
Q: What would a mill levy be used for?
A: We would have to word the ballot question knowing it would be money that would never sunset. There is a lot to think about within the next year.
Q: Are principals going to have the administrative power within their buildings?
A: Yes, they will have more responsibility with the distributive leadership model.
Q: Will the model of three executive directors cost us more than a superintendent?
A: These people were already employed/included in the budget and will be compensated for the added responsibility. It will not add more deficit spending.
Added Note: Some policies will need to be re-written to reflect the new leadership model.
