FCCLA Winter Conference

6 Attend FCCLA Winter Conference

On January 29th, 6 students attended the Northeastern Plains FCCLA District Winter Conference at NJC in Sterling. Throughout the day, students attended round table workshops put on by each school, as well as officer candidates interviewed for positions. Paulyna Alcorn and Sophia Conrad interviewed for and were selected as State Officer Candidates for the District. Lauren Soehner interviewed for a district officer position and was selected as the district Vice-President and Parliamentarian, as well an interview panel member at the State Conference in April. Jackie Robles interviewed and was selected as the district Secretary. Emily Weaver served on the interview panel. Karli Buchanan attended workshops to get a feel for what FCCLA was about. In addition to their interviews, all candidates for any position were required to give a one-minute prop speech in front of all the attendees. Wray FCCLA is very proud to have so much representation at both the state and district levels and is looking forward to State Conference in April.

Students from Wray FCCLA attended the District Winter Conference in Sterling on January 29th. were Paulyna Alcorn, Jackie Robles, Emily Weaver, Karli Buchanan, Lauren Soehner, Sophia Conrad, and Advisor Mrs. Angela DePue. Alcorn and Conrad were selected as State Officer Candidates, Robles was selected as the district Secretary, and Soehner was selected as the district Vice-President and Parliamentarian.
