These students attended the Ultimate Celebration event hosted by Northeast BOCES on Friday. They learned about Mars, the planets, aerodynamics, and robotics!

These fourth graders have been studying volcanoes and earthquakes. Today they investigated the difference between cone and shield volcanoes by simulating how bubbles form in different types of lava. Then we called in a local expert to tell us about experiencing an earthquake. Thank you Mrs. DePue for sharing your story with us!

Students write notes of thanks and appreciation to their teachers. This month, Ms. Turnage and Mrs. Wade were selected by a drawing and both teachers, and the students who recognized them, were recognized.

A special shout out to the Cookie Dough Committee for providing the funding requested by our very own 4th Grade Playground Committee to pump up the fun on our WES playground! Brand new balls of all kinds were purchased as well as new tether balls, jump ropes, and frisbees. The creation of an outside doodle station is in the works complete with sidewalk chalk and stencils. Thank you, Cookie Dough Committee, for helping us achieve our goals of improving the WES playground!
