Wray Elementary students learned about and viewed today's solar eclipse.

Two high school students are doing an FBLA project involving the Manna Pantry. Starting Monday, March 25th, the high school students will do a grade-level competition to get food donations with the elementary students (PreK-6). Your child will have the opportunity to bring non-perishable food items to help their grade win. The contest will end on Monday, April 1st. There will be prizes for the top two grade levels.

Dos estudiantes de High School están haciendo un proyecto de FBLA que implica la despensa de Manna. Comenzando el lunes, 25 de marzo, los estudiantes de la escuela secundaria harán una competición de nivel de grado para conseguir donaciones de alimentos con los estudiantes de primaria (PreK-6). Fifth grade students teamed up with the local Colorado Tree Coalition to showcase their artistic talents in a poster contest. The main focus of the contest is to raise awareness and appreciation for the vital role that trees play in sustaining our environment and enhancing our communities overall quality of life.
The winners of the poster contest are as follows:

Honorable Mention: Mackenlie
Cassandra's poster will go on to compete at the state competition in Denver.

Wray Schools took 20 students to Grand Island, NE this last weekend to compete in the academic history, geography, and science bees. We had several students qualify for the national competition!

Congratulations to these 3rd graders who passed all of their fast facts for addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division by the end of quarter three! These students were awarded with a math medal and received a standing ovation from their classmates. These math Olympians stood proud as their classmates sang the National Anthem in honor of their hard work.

Congratulations to our top ten readers in 3rd-6th grade for Q3! These students have won gift certificates to the Wray Aquatic Center! These certificates can be used for a pool pass or the concession stand. Together the 3rd-6th graders read a total of 6,730,670 words! Way to go!

Wray Elementary Enrichment students went to Sterling for the BOCES Ultimate Celebration yesterday. They spent the day learning about STEAM, circuits, and teamwork. It was an excellent experience for our students!!

These students would like to thank local beekeeper, Bob Shade, for lending us some of his beehive screens as we learn about bees. The students enjoyed looking at the bees' work and getting to sample some of the honeycomb.
