Due the the Governor’s new state wide mandate on masks, the students who use the weight room in the mornings will now need to work out individually. We have been working out in small groups of 2 or 3. With the new mandate each student will need to complete their exercises on their own in order to be in compliance with the the Governor’s new terms.

Early Milestones Colorado is conducting important research to understand the impact of COVID-19 on the early childhood sector in Colorado and we strongly encourage you to participate! If you do no other survey this summer, please complete this one.
If you are the parent or guardian of a child 12 years old or younger, we are asking you to complete a survey about your experiences with child care and early education since the beginning of the pandemic. The survey will be open for responses until the end of July and will be available in English and Spanish.
Families who take the survey will be eligible to win a $100 gift card. One response per family, please. Survey responses will help inform policy and funding decisions, and future efforts to sustain the early childhood sector in Colorado. Hello parents. Tonight is the night for Boys grades 7 through 12 to get their sports physicals for free at the clinic. The girls night is tomorrow July 16th. We are officially five days out, and I wanted to relay last-minute information. If you are not already aware, graduation has been moved to Sticker Field. The date and time will remain the same.
This event will be limited to 250 guests. Passes will be distributed to students during graduation practice for them to distribute to their guests. Graduation will be live-streamed through the Wray School District Facebook page for those who are not able to attend.
The Wray School District asks guests not to attend if they are experiencing any of the following symptoms: a fever over 100 degrees, shortness of breath, body aches, rash, headache, or upset stomach. It is encouraged that all attendees wear cloth face coverings when they can do so safely. Also, groups from different households should be seated at least 6 feet apart.
Seating will be provided for graduates, class sponsors, school board members, and school administration. All other attendees need to bring their own seating. Families can begin to set up for their seating beginning at 2:00 PM. Due to the family area set up, we will allow shade structures to be used. These areas will be designated throughout Sticker Field and will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We were hoping that local and state restrictions would be relaxed enough by the time we were ready to host prom; however, that has not been the case. As a result, we will be canceling all prom activities scheduled for Saturday, July 18. We will be moving forward with WHS graduation on July 17. Thank you.

LifeSkills is coming this fall to 6th and 7th grades! Life Skills is a program which helps young adolescents build skills to successfully handle challenging situations. Higher self-esteem, creative problem solving, reduced stress and anxiety, and managing anger are examples of personal self-management skills this program will provide. A google sheet has been shared with your child that has the opportunity for them to sign up for the school's summer lifting program if that would like. This is an optional program for all incoming 7th through 12th graders. If you child would like to participate please have them fill in their name for the session they would like to attend.
